would rhode island red hens have abit of green on them? because i hatched 30 chicks (now 3 months old) and sadly only 1 rhode island red hatched and he/she is getting a curvyish tail and green on this tail and round his neck, but still has a small pinky coloured comb? is this a hen or a rooster?

thanks

RIR are a great breed, regular egg layer, we have 2 hens and one cockrel, the cockrel can be a little feisty at times but a very beautiful bird to look at. We are going to try and breed some this summer more for the experience than anything else.. We will let you know how we get on.
