Monaghan Poultry Fanciers Club will be holding a poultry & car boot sale on the 31st of this month (October) in the GAA Park, Rockcorry, Co. Monaghan. There will be a wide range of poultry for sale at this event as usual. The last few sales which took place on the 7th March, 4th May, and 29th August were very successful, so hoping you will join them on the 31st to make this one another success.

The sale will be starting early Saturday morning, usually ending around 1pm.
@Mary, I think that is an unfair comment. There are new topics daily on the forum and I get many enquiries via email. I haven’t been able to update the site often due to time constraints, therefore I am looking for people who would be interested in writing for the site on topics of their choice. Articles submitted would be featured here on the homepage of the site and full credit will be given. Anyone interested can email me at info@poultry.ie .

Hi Connor, we were going to travel up to Monaghan from Dublin tomorrow to the Poultry fair. We have only recently purchased hens. Is the fair just for buying/selling hens or is it useful to attend to learn more about poultry keeping and buying products for feeding and disease prevention etc.

The next sale is on the 6th of March. The best time to purchase is around Spring/Summer time.
